I have a subadult male Red Bar Ambanja, and I was wondering what is a normal/semi-normal coloration for a Red Bar Ambanja?
I've seen a few pics of some Ambanja's and it seems like they have more white than other morphs, but is it usually a lot of white or slight but more than others? Because mine is really, really, white, so I'm curious if this is normal or if he will grow out of it?
His normal everyday coloration is mainly white with some redish bars, and when he fires up he get's even brighter white and his bars turn solid red. Is there suppose to be any green or blue besides the white? At night when he sleeps he gets a very slight green hue towards the top of his back but's it, otherwise lots of white.
I don't know much about Ambanja coloration as he arrived as a mistake with some other panthers, but I kept him just because he was neat.
Any help would be appreciated. I can also post a pic or two if someone wants to see him, and see what I'm talking about.
