Are Newborns docile???

I was wondering if new born snakes of all species are docile when hatched/born? Or do they try to get away from you, never had a clutch but will in a few years when my babies get big enough. Can't wait.

My roomates are2 boas, 4 corns,Rotti,3cats and snake food AKA the food chain.
