Posted by: JP at Mon Sep 20 10:02:22 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by JP ] I get mine free...and they are the same top quality 17 X 17 X 10 heavy cardboard with styrofoam inner "cooler" you can get from the reptile packaging guys (the same box I recieved a pair of carpets from VPI, and some balls from RDR). The only difference is the markings, which I cover up anyway. My local pet store gets 10 to 12 of these boxes each week, as their fish are shipped in them. They normally throw out the cardboard and save the cooler. Every few months I have them save me a few sets. They originally said they were going to charge me $3 bucks a set, but they always give them to me free. Free boxes and no shipping....its worth a look. They occaisionally get in larger sizes, but I like the regular ones - you can easily fit several hatchlings or yearlings in one box. When I need more room, I just tape two together. Give it a shot! | ||
