Hmm..are chams color-blind? If so, maybe try a black light or red "party light". It's just a normal lightbulb with red glass. These would give off heat but wouldn't be so bright. That way your cham could still sleep with out the "sun" shining on him.



(This works for my hedgehog, who won't come out normally if the light's on.)
