You can use either ceramic heat lamps or the red ones. But I would not use it unless it is going to get below 55. chameleons can stand temps down into the 40's at night. they do need a drop in temp at night to be comfortable so dont put the heat on at night unless its going to get real cold.



as far as color...I've never had a nosy before but my blue ambanja had red in his neck when he was 2 months old and that disapeared, he's now all blue/yellow/purple. no red at all.
