I have a temp gun from Pro Exotics. It works fine for me. I wouldn't think that an error of /- 3 degrees is going to hurt. The only time I would really worry about having a more accurate reading is for incubation purposes. Even then, temperatures could fluctuate a degree or two beyond your control.

It's actually not that I love or even like snakes. I just hate rodents.
