I keep my hatchlings in a very simplistic set up until they are about 3 months old... ie... in a 2.5 gal critter carrier with several appropriately sized sticks, a trimming or two or pothos with roots in contact with a moist paper towel substrate... This, with frequent sprays, and a portion of the top covered obviously gets pretty damp, but that isnt a problem since the paper towel should be getting changed often enough anyway... I introduce them into a natural setup later on... No worries about having trouble hunting, no worries about ingesting crap they shouldn't, and no trouble making observations about how much food they are eating... ----- Ben
