Question about Calumna parsonii parsonii

Has anybody ever produced any F2 parsonii? I have heard that this has never been done. Why are parsonii so hard to breed? Is there any efforts underway in Madagascar to farm this species and are there ever going to be anymore imports? From what I can tell there is only a small number of captive parsonii left and what will people do when the genepool runs out.
