Veiled chameleon eggs. Could they be fertile?....

I have a pair of 7-9 mo. old veiled chameleons. I have been raising them in separate 100 gal Reptarium cages since they were approx. 2 months old. They hadn't mated before since I had them.



The female looked like she might be loaded with eggs. I began to wonder if I should let them mate. I put her in the males cage & they mated. Exactly 14 days later she layed 50 eggs which I am incubating at approx. 76-79F.



Were those eggs that had in her able to be fertilized by him? I realize that there is sperm retention so the next batch of eggs she lays have a better chance of being fertile. But, am I just wasting time with these present eggs???
