First thing you need to do is cover that screen with either wood or plexiglass which will help keep your animal hydrated as well as maintain consistant temps. Drill a few small holes in the top and you're good to go. Take out one of the heat lamps and leave the other on 24/7 which wont be a problem as long as the monitor has somewhere to hide thats dark. If it gets cold at night it can go up and bask when it chooses. But if the night time temp with this set up drops below 79 then use the heat pad at night(set to 85) without the lights.
