My vet is on vacation but will be back tuesday, I dont trust the other vet in the area that sees reptiles.... they are... well not anyone I'd want to take an animal to. I'm making an appt for him as soon as I can but was hoping somone knew something in the meantime.... its not his basking area - the basking lamp is outside the enclosure far up enough that he cant get close enough to hurt himself and these are very localised. upon further inspecction they look like sores of some kind but I still cant figure out where they came from and am concerned it may be some kind of parasite or fungal infection...



as far as POLISPORIN goes - this is good for everyone to know - after 2 hours polisporin will actually BREED bacteria - my bf's doctor told him (when he got a chemical burn) if he used it he had to wash it off and reaply it every 2 hours otherwise it would CAUSE infection. In situations with my Psitticines I was giving the same advice to stay away from it by the vet.
