Clear looking patch of scales??

I just got into bearded dragons about a month ago. I have 2 bearded dragons. 1 male 2yrs old & a young female a little over a year old. Both are eating and seem healthy except for the patch on my male's back is worrying me. I noticed that my 2 year old male Beardie had developed clear/whitish dime sized patch on his back earlier this week. I took a close look at it and it does not seem like a fungus or mold. It just looks like some of his scales have changed or lost its color. Any ideas on what this could be? Should I be worried or not?
