it is not what I'm talking about. Your supposed to dust your crickets with a calcium powder, young collareds everyday, adults atleast 2 - 3 times a week.
There are many out there. I use Sticky Tongue, Miner-All (for indoor reptiles)
If you have not been using this and you dont have a uvb light or it is older, OR he does not get natural sunlight, they can develope metabolic bone diease. Symptoms, can be many, swollen limbs, lameness, twitching, seizures, many things.
Again because she has a swollen leg does not mean she has that.
Thats why its important you find a Vet, so they can determine why it is swollen. Also the fact she not eating by herself, you know something is not right.
Its just so hard with some things to know whats going on. Here we can help when its small things we see all the time.
Also if it were me, I would save my money and stop buying the orange cubes for crickets, and feed them greens, carrots real orange slices, apple slices, potato slices, dry cat or dog food fish food, cereals, there are alot of good things you can feed them, that (I think are more nutrious) for your lizard.
** Always Remember, whatever your bugs eat, thats what your lizard is getting.
So I do not know exactly what these orange cubes for crickets are, but I would recommend feeding them really well on some of the things listed.
I sure hope Sheay will be okay, hate when they are sick ----- ____
