I forgot to mention that when Orion's eggs were taken out, the vet put them in the incubator with her (it was oer 95* it was all i could do NOT to slap him) and I can't help but wonder if that is part of the reason none of them made it. He knew enough about lizards how to do the surgery, but he didn't know that her eggs needed to stay at room temp. He also wasn't even going to keep them, until i asked him to. DUH. Just make sure that if she does have surgery you discuss EXACTLY what you want done with the eggs. you may even want to leave whatever substrate you are planning to use with him, so everyone is prepared.

I spent about $300 CDN on orion's ordeal by the time it was done, and my vet was EXTREEMLY nice.. they didn't charge me for any of the post op care, just $10 a day she was there, and all of the cost for meds, but not dispensing fees. The only thing they really made money on was her surgery, that was a standard fee. I think she made a good impression on them the last few times she's been there. Funny how chams can do that eh?

Just try to keep the eggs well if you do have to have them removed. If you can salvage some/all of them then hopefully you can make some of your money back (I know that is probably one of the furthest things from your mind, next to your chams health, but i know how it is to pay for school and be on a short leash with money...). Think positively and picture things going well and having a house full of little chams... I am a strong beleiver in the power of one's mind.
