Rats vs. Hamsters for Baby Blood Growth

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had seen any difference in growth rates between baby bloods fed on small rats and those fed on hamsters? Tao is now big enough to take either very small rats or medium hamsters, and I want to feed him whatever is the healthiest and best for him. I've heard that rats are better than mice; has anyone had any experience feeding hamsters?
