Just wanted to let you all who've been helping me out here know... Aurora went in for surgery today strong (and apparently a bit hostile so the vet said, atta girl )

Apparently things were a real mess inside. The left side eggs hadnt developed enough to go down and the right side was just horrible. Apparently 3 eggs had broken, maybe from a fall or something. There were a couple brown ones, one HUGE one and just an all around mess. There is a chance one or two of the eggs might be viable enough to try to incubate which is my hope right now, but im still stuck in school. My parents are going right now to pick her up and the eggs and talk to the vet.



She went through the surgery just fine he said, but she just never woke up. They had a heart beat for awhile but she never started breathing afterwards, apparently thats a big prob with reptiles so he said. He sounded crushed that she didnt make it and I appreciate all he helped with.

Anyway just wanted to post the final results, and hopefully theres an egg in there or so that might make it. Im going to go have a good cry then start looking up more incubating info. At least I still have Gene, just now an empty cage next to his.
