>>i got my blood on 9-5 and she has eaten 3 meals so far and hasnt defecated. the length of time is not worrying me because my ball generally takes awhile too, its the "stuff" i feel in her. i can feel a lot of urates, poo etc.. in her. i have soaked her twice. what else should i do? should i just wait some more? i think she is trying to defecate because she pees in her humidity hide and cage but its never the hard white urates. well any advice would be great.

What I have learned in the year and a half of owning my SST from a small one year old bit over a foot long dude to a now over 5 pound 3.5ft bad boy is....
Give them space to stretch out and move around, and give them humidity all the time. Mine has taken to pooping about every month, give or take and has obviously grown incredibly. I really see that he will take more than I would have thought to feed him and he also makes use of the space of a long tub. Works for me anyway. He had a few months when I first got him when he didn't poop. Remedies didn't do it (soaking or palpating) but having the higher humidity (there is condensation on one end of the tub at times) and giving him about half again to double the space I would have originally seems to have worked. He is due to move up in size again......haven't found to what yet though.

Haven't we warned you about tampering with the structure of a chaotic system?
