If you are planning to brumate in middle of October for example, start to feed less frequently, now.



Then stop food altogether for 7 days, BEFORE turning off heat (basking light) you want their stomaches to be empty of any content.



Then turn off the heat light only. Continue to give fresh water.



About 2 weeks later turn off the flouresent uvb light. Now there will be no lights.



Thats how you prepare, I think thats what you were asking.



Also remember NEVER brumate an unhealthy, extremely thin, or very young lizard.
