Jimmy, The males stay smaller (around 3.5 ft) while females get a little bigger 4-5 ft. Of course there are always exceptions to any size rule. I purchased my first pair of nics from Ben Seigal for $50 each or $100 for a 1.1 pair. I was so pleased with them that I ordered another pair from Ben just weeks later. They are well worth it given their variation in color and pattern. Temperament is okay too. Only thing about them is 3 of my 4 nics will only eat live mice. I got one to switch over successfully but the other 3 are holding out.lol. Of course, I have been so busy with teaching that I haven't really had the proper time to try switching them over to f/t. Oh, also, I heard somewhere that Ben Seigal takes the cream of the crop from the farm-hatched imported nics so there is no real worries about getting a poor animal. I don't know why they aren't selling for more. In fact, I see many people buy from Ben then turn around and sell the nics for alot more....$1-300 a piece. Check it out and you'll be surprised how happy you'll be with them. ----- Sincerely, Jason ----- My Website: www.members.aol.com/northeastsnakes
