I'm glad you're replacing the Bed-A-Beast. I might have mentioned it previously, but I have had problems with my leaf chameleons if they ingest it. It's an awesome sterile medium, but it should be reserved for those species who are in less danger of ingesting it accidentally.
Also, I might have missed it in one of your previous posts, but did you ever take a fecal sample to a vet? That's pretty important in order to determine whether the animals have internal parasites in the form of "worms," or whether they have a blood protozoan (also considered parasites). I say this because some blood protozoans cannot be eliminated (not even with PARAZAP), such as it is in the case of HEMOGREGARINA. These protozoans live in the reptile's bloodstream and they prevent them from gaining weight. When stress is present, the parasite takes over and the animals can become dangerously compromised.
I know you're looking for someone to take a look at a sample. I don't know if this is possible through the Postal Service (or even legal), but if it is, and if you can't find someone else in your area to do so, you could send me a couple of FRESH fecal samples and we could look at them. They would probably need to be prepared somehow so that they do not dry out during shipping, but at least we could look at them under a microscope see if they really have compromising parasites. If nothing comes up, then chances are they have blood parasites.
Anyway, this is just an option. Give them parazap since you already have it in-transit, and maybe you could send a sample later...
