i am sure it has been done before, but i know a couple years ago this guy used elephant dung on a painting that was controversial and it was hung up somewhere in NYC. then, as always, other people decided to join in on the "fad" some use endangered species poo, some people just good ol' cow poo. that is about all i know about it
