Yes, I am lucky; he is a great guy. But he had to build the guys a new home because this is ALL his fault! LOL I never dreamed I would enjoy having a pet like this until he caught Otis for me. He also caught both my girls and is responsible for the hatchling too, since one of the girls was pregnant! Then several friends had to have some, so 3 other pairs were captured over the summer. I would tell mine "hey, good thing I love you, because this one is prettier." It is fun to go and visit them all; we have a several areas to look for them around here and they are diverse and beautiful.
I am beginning to wonder about the new babe's age. I had already noticed that her navel was closed/healed more than the male's was at that size and had wondered about that. Today she is going thru a shed, the male didn't do that until he was a month old. Her tummy is nice and round, but I wonder if she has just not grown as fast. Maybe she will now that she has lots of crickets to eat. There were a lot of grasshoppers where we caught her, but I thought they were all pretty big. (The male keeps telling me his name is Hermes but I just can't believe that...) ----- Valerie
