OK I posted this on the cage and habitat design forum, but got no responce. Also the details of my enclosure are there as well if you are interested. But here is my problem. I have looked in SO MANY different places and can't seem to find a 50 watt SLIM 24 hour red heat bulb. Although I found a place that says they are available in 50 watt, they only advertise 25 watt. I was told in the C&H forum that 25watt will probably not be sufficent and I should get a 50watt and put it on a dimmer, which was my thoguht origionally. Anyone know where I can find these? Also If I put the bulb on a dimmer... how do I work that into my Thermostat setup, I have heard not to put this type of bulb on a thermostat, but if I am not there o check the temps all the time and adjust the dimmer, I don't want it to get too hot or too cold.
