I think it's beneficial to their health since they can finally escape predators (ie. us humans ). Ra just loves his new burrow and comes out on his own to bask (I was a little concerned about the lower temps in there). It'll also be a good place for him to spend his brumation period.



Here's a pic of the burrow system I designed (without the substrate). Ra seems to prefer the den with 2 exits.
