check your temps...he's opening his mouth to regulate his body temp...the basking spot should be in the mid 80's...usually a 40 watt bulb is fine...



Jackson's need rather high humidity...70 percent range...they also drink alot...you need to soak him down twice a day...not just a quick misting either...gently bump the spray trigger so larger drops with little pressure comes out...you should be able to hold it quite close to him without him getting upset (he may have to get used to this)...he may begin drink immediatly or he may just chill out and it may take him up to five minutes before he's ready to start gulping down water...



he may only drink once a day, but he should drink just about everyday...keep the dripper going all day also



p.s. they don't take moisture from the air..your cham will dehydrate if your counting on that
