We've seen similar pics of a hatchling in the last few months. After a couple of sheds the orange started coming through on what originally looked like "bald" patches and it looked like turning into a standard, but really pretty, Amel. It'd be interesting to see your guy in a few weeks - could you post another pic after its next shed?
