Hiding in the bedding is totally normal, just make sure that you have plenty of hides on top of it too.

Leave her alone for three or four days to let her adpt to the new environment, then put her in a small container (the deli cup she most likely came in is good) with the pinky. Put the container in a quiet dark plave and leave her alone. She should eat without any trouble, but it may take a while the first time.

Do not feed her in the tank with the substrate. When the snake eats it can pull in pieces of bedding that can become lodged in its digestive track and kill it.

You will also want to leave her alone and not handle her for a couple of days after feeding. Handling her to put her back in the tank is fine, but be gentle and quick about it. You can also place the open deli cup in her tank and let her come out on her own, just wait for her to finish the meal first.

I know it has probably been recommended already, but pick up a copy of "The Corn Snake Manual" by Kathy Love. It is an invaluable resource.
