Ok,
Regal ringnecks can get anywhere from 15 to 30 inches in length, AZ locale average out around 25, the ones from Texas are mostly intergrades and they max out at 15, California regals I have little studied, but I've heard of a few 30 inchers from there. They eat mainly snakes and lizards, but in captivity they have eaten salamanders and mice. The may or may not have a neck ring, some from Texas(intergrades w/ arnyi) have interuppted rings. The dorsal coloration can be greenish, slate colored, gray, black or brownish. The belly is yellow or orange with a lot of small irregularly placed spots, and the tail is red. Regals are venomous to their prey, and a regal can kill a similar sized snake from one bite on the neck in less than 10 minutes. They are not constrictors, but my little baby has constricted other snakes 2 times.
