I wanted to introduce Archie to his new cage, just let him play in it for a bit, then I had planned on putting him back in his old cage, because I don't know how to tell if the smell is too much for him. It is definitely there, but doesn't seem too bad.



It has been a couple of weeks since I sealed the inside. The reason I asked is because Archie seems to be quite content in the new cage. Playing on his furniture, basking, pooping, etc. He seems to like sleeping in his new cave, and this is what worries me the most. What if he sleeps and has a problem?



How can I tell if the fumes are hazardous to him? With people it is if they get a headache, or get dizzy... A little hard to tell with a lizard. I would just wait until the smell goes away entirely, but I stuck my head in another sealed cabinet I have, that is ANCIENT, and it still smells a bit too....



Any thoughts would be really helpful! Thanks.
