i dont know what they call them but there real thin and they have the sticky back so they stay in place, like i said there real cheap at only 98 cents a peice and real easy to cut and fit your tank, check out the photo gallery ive seen a lot of pics of people useing these and said also that they are great for leos, im gonna try to get my pics up soon, hope this helps
