If they smelled that bad it was almost definitely a regurgitation. How big is the snake? If he is big enough for five pinkies, then he should probably be on fuzzys or hoppers by now. If he is not big enough for larger prey, then he probably should not be eating five pinkies.



Since you said that this is what you have been feeding and you have not had this problem before, you might want to check out the conditions in the tank. It is getting cooler this time of year, so it could be that the tank is too cool. Tell us a little more about your setup - number of hides, substrate, heat, humidity, amount of people and pet traffic around his tank, etc... and maybe someone will have some suggestions for you.



For right now, presuming it is a regurge, don't try feeding him again for at least a week. It will take his system some time to recover before he can try and digest something else. When you do feed him - try a smaller meal.
