I am in Ontario also. My cage is thin plywood on the back and sides, and 1/4" plastic screen/mesh stuff for the door and top. Orion loves it and it does give enough circulation. Word of advice, ONLY use one side and the top screen. I spent a crapload on foggers, and humidifiers and everything to keep the humidity up and i ended up with a tropics room. very uncomfortable.

I would also suggest a warm mist humdidifier to use during jan/feb when it is crazy dry.
