I totally plan to use my cornsnakes as part of my unit. Just bear with your teacher b/c during my student teaching, I had a co-op who would NOT allow me to use any live animals in a biology classroom (imagine actually studing living things IN a class about the study of living things.lol). Anyway, I had to teach genetics using punnetts and imaginary traits and animals b/c thats what my co-op wanted....it sucked...it was unbearable for the students, who I'm certain would have rather learned from a real world perspective. Anyway, you are really ahead of things if you already know about all that at 15 years old. Is it an honors class? | ||
