As a matter of fact, I started out with Aspen in my cages. As my collection has grown, I've seen the light, and started using newspaper. Much easier to stay on top of keeping their enclosures spotless, plus evertime I'd pull a snake out or move something and aspen would have a habit of falling on the floor quite a bit.
