Lighting/heating Question

Is it safe to put a dome with a 100W Powersun on a screen top for a day gecko. Worried that the heat may be too intense If it climbs on screen directly under it. I currently have it on a clip but lose a lot of the light/heat by doing it this way. Need advice. Thanks in advance.
