Posted by: jayf at Tue Oct 19 17:20:20 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by jayf ] if im not mistaken raptariums are soft mesh cages with a zipper opening .. in this case i would not recomend these for a monitor for a few reasons. humidity is not really a problem here but monitors require very high basking spots which are difficult to keep in a cage which does not hold any air at all. The most important thing is that monitors dig and have claws which I could see coming in handy in escaping from a soft mesh cage. I would suggest a large commercial plastic cage or a home made wooden cage, the latter probably cheaper. | ||
