Hey, I currently own just one leopard gecko, but I've been looking into cresteds and my parents are gunna let me get one! I'm now starting to read about them and have just a couple of questions...
1) Can they be raised just on baby food and fruit? Has anyone done this with good results? I'd be willing to give crickets, but I dislike them and I feed my leo superworms/mealworms, dont like to deal with them. Are mealworms ok to feed or are their shells too hard for cresteds? Maybe the newly molted ones instead of crickets or no?
2) Are screen type vivariums good? Reptariums are pretty cheap, and I think they look nice, and have good ventilation. Would it be harder to keep good humidity in there?
3) How are they with handling? My leo is super tame, how are they compared to leos? Do they become "tame" or do they just tolerate it?
4) Is room temp good? The room I'd be keeping them in is around 75 degrees most of the time, so would this be ok?
5) About how big do they get?
