I have 2, 2-foot pieces of flexwatt that I woulk like to splice together to make 1 4 foot peice. By doing this I could control all 4 feet with just one dimmer. I want to use it on a rack I just built for babies. I was thinking of using "jumper" wires to connect the copper strips. Or could I lay them side-by-side, cut away the milar to make copper meet copper, then solder together?
Here is a dumb question, but I have only soldered copper water pipe. Is this the same solder as for electic? If not, what should I use?
Any ideas/suggestions on HOW to best do this is appreciated.
I just wanted to check to see if anyone has done this before. Thanks for the help.
