>>You know my take on the subject.
I feed my snakes once a week.
Hatchlings and adults.
Hell, back when I was growing up there weren't many books to go by and definitely no internet but somewhere along the line we were told that snakes probably didn't eat any more then about once a month, on average, so we used to keep them on a three week schedule. This was more then they would probably eat in the wild so we thought we were doing good. They never starved. They grew well and never refused a meal.
Basically what I am saying is that if a snake eats once a week it will not be malnourished. It may not grow as quickly as some of the "hurry-up-and-breed-it-to-make-money" people might want but it will grow up strong and healthy.
Not to mention the fact that if I went by the feed them after they crap schedule, with all of my snakes, I would be feeding everyday.
It is just easier for me to pick one day a week and make that feeding day.
Although, by next season I may have to make that a two day schedule.
Feed all of my existing snakes on Saturday and all of the hatchlings on Sunday.
NOTE: I know absolutely nothing about Blue Beauties so they are not included in this post.
NOTE 2...LOL. This is just MY way of doing it. MY opinions on the subject and MY experience. ----- Corn snakes and rat snakes..No one can have just one.
