This is what works for me. I feed my hatchlings and juvies every 7 days, and the adults get fed every 14 days. Of course, those that eat rabbits would get a less frequent schedule, but I don't have anything at that size right now. I split feeding days up over the course of a week. I feed certain groups of them on certain days: larger boids and colubrids on Mondays, arboreals and ratsnakes on Wednesdays, and younger colubrids and boids on Fridays. I skip every now and then, but often a shed cycle takes care of that for me. I've never had any problems with obesity, regurgitation, or semidigested meals. My only "problem feeder" is my big gray ratsnake who is rather picky. Again, this is what works for me.
