I don't have any explanation for why they would show up in some hets and not others or even a feel for how often they show up and if it's more common in some lines than others but it does set precedence that at least it's possible there might be a sporadic "tell" for het piebald. However, it would be unfortunate that with this possible tell for het piebald that it isn't that uncommon in non-het balls. I think at least with the Burm tells you can be pretty sure if you do see it you are looking at a het even though you don't see it in all hets. | ||
