Where I work we have a regular columbian red tail that caught a respritory infection mid pregnancey. She gave birth and had thirty some-odd still borns and slugs. All the still borns were fully developed and appeared to be anery. Since both the parents were not anery and there is almost no way that either of their parents were, I know that there is a small to almost nonexistant chance to have all anery babies. Why would the still borns appear that way though? At first I figured, lack of oxygen and of blood, but the fact that they were all totally developed little boas, not deformed, or underdeveloped at all, they had to be getting all the escential nutrients to grow, even if they had already passed away. Does anyone have any suggestions or have had similar things happen to them??
