You might be able to find cypress mulch at a shop that specializes in herps.

Thats where I found mine.

Here in the northeast,cypress is not a big item. Most mulches here are cedar.

I finally found bulk cypress at a petshop, and it was garden quality mulch. Not extra fine, lots of large pieces, and sticks.

I searched all outdoor, farm and garden shops for a long time and came up empty.
