Feed the snake at night since that's when they're most active, in a dark room and with minimal distubance. It helps when feeding frozen thawed to warm them up to near 100 degrees. I thaw my mice in very hot water (from the tap) and then dry them a little and offer with tongs. If they're hungry, they'll grab them pretty quick. If the snake doesn't take the prey item from the tongs, I usually just lay it on top of the hide box and they'll come out and eat overnight. Be patient, the snake may need to miss a couple of meals to get hungry enough to eat dead prey. My pair came to me eating only live mice and I got them both switched to f/t over the course of a few months. The male accepted dead prey after a couple of feedings, the female however took a couple of months. | ||
