You palpate the female and if she has developing follicles you can feel them inside of her body. To palpate you basically feel along their underside and the follicles should be a little more than halfway down the snake closer to the tail side. Some females are extremely hard to palpate....others are very easy...but once they are get bigger...there is pretty much no mistaking them.....
