I tried to wash mine in water once or twice to try to kill the bugs but it is more of a pain than it is worth. it is very messy and you loose lots of the finer stuff, most of the bugs die off pretty quick anyway. I would guess dirt would be best for a sav but i could be wrong. you could always put a pile of leaves over the dirt in a corner so it has something to forage in. [ Hide Replies ]
