Ok after the 5 minuit fix of wrecklessly filling the cage with more dirt and more leaves the monitor is loving it.



digging climbing hideing and i swear somtimes it looks like shes building somthing :P



it is a femals and i was told she has layed eggs before but no male to fertalize them 1st.



if anyone has a male in the south florida area and they are interested in breeding it i will split the babies 50/50.



But i have 2 questions.



this mangrove is house broken and does not bite, squirms a little and hisses when you go to get her but will not bite.



after setteling in to a new big house from her small apartment in the petstore, does anyone think it will affect her attitude?

i havent taken her out for the strole around the room because shes been having so much fin in her cage.



But when i do go to get her does anyone think with the change in enviornment would effect her attitude enought to bite me? or will she be more calm? i know its hard to predict that stuff but anyone have any opinion.

I used to keep a few argentine tegus and they were dog tame but as soon as i brought them outside on the leash they went psycho.



running hissiing trying to bite me.



now do mangroves do that? can i put it in the patio or evin strap the leash on it so it can get some real sunlight?

or is that out of the question.



i know if she bites me it will HURT.
