I noticed that the greenish (sometimes blue) spot consistantly appears on the ventral side of the animal, directly below the liver and stomach usually an hour or so after death. I did a necropsy on two of the leopar geckos that died, and noticed an abnormaly colored spot on the liver of the first leopard gecko disected. However, what looked like infected tissue, did not reveal any sort of bacteria or fungal spores under the microscope. I too am curious as to what might cause this? | ||
