Hey everyone,

I'm a recent convert to the FWC circle. I'd looked at them forever and debated keeping them and dove in finally after reading about them. They have quickly become my favorite snakes. They have the feeding response of my pine snake on steroids and the best temperament I've encountered with many big colubrids. I now own a pair that is composed of a 2001 female and 2002 male. I bought the pair with intents to breed and add to my breeding projects; however, I haven't been able to find a large amount of info on breeding sizes and ages. The breeder I got my pair from told me that the male and female should be ready to rock and roll by spring if kept on a feeding regime of twice a week feedings. He's just less than 3 ft and the female is about 4.5 ft, but both seem to be growing bigger with every feeding. I was curious what the age and size for breeding would be and if the breeder was a little bit liberal with his estimate of breeding by spring? Thanks for the help in advance.
