Posted by: snakespeed at Sun Jun 29 18:53:15 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by snakespeed ] I have a red blood that is about a year old that will not defecate. I am a reptile zookeeper and have talked to our staff vet and a couple of other breeders, but they don't have an answer either. I have tried increasing humidity and soaking weekly with no results. The snake eats fine and has had a couple of enemas, but still will not poop on it's own. Was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if there is a solution, as this is a female I was going to use for breeding, but I am concerned there would be a problem as a result. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. [ Hide Replies ]
